In Phase 2 of the redevelopment of Westwood Plaza Kimco created a 19,000 square foot HomeGoods store and a 10,000 square foot Ulta store. The new stores replaced approximately 28,000 square foot of in-line small shops between Office Depot and TJ Maxx. Kimco also demolished an existing outparcel building and constructed a new 5,000 square foot building for a relocated Metro Diner and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. In addition to the building footprint re-configurations, Kimco revised the landscaping at the outparcel along with storm water modifications and revised the landscaping in the rear of Ulta and HomeGoods along Wallace School Road.
