The redevelopment of Suburban Square, the 355,000 square foot mixed-use center located on the Philadelphia Main Line, is being completed in several phases. We are now in Phase III. Phase I included the expansion of existing Trader Joe's by 3,884 square feet and construction of a new parking structure which increased parking by approximately 376 spaces. The parking structure includes an additional 3,000 square feet of retail space. Phase II included redeveloping the former five-level Macy's building into a multi-tenant building for West Elm and Life Time Athletic (both open and operating). The full-service athletic club offers Main Line residents an exceptional mix of boutique programming, premium amenities and spa services in a resort-like setting. This flagship location is also the first Life Time facility to offer co-working space, complete with state-of-the-art conference rooms and an outdoor terrace. Phase III of the redevelopment will involve transforming the courtyard into a community gathering space with a lawn area and the development of a new 40,000 square foot two-story building, called "Station Row" located in the existing SEPTA lot. In-line retail will occupy the first floor and office rental on the second floor.
